Pathway at Frederick Street Underway
Curb, Gutter, and Sidewalk Installed at Harbor Access Road
We had some much needed rain last weekend. The contractor had all of their erosion control measures in place and everything in the project held up very well. The work on placing concrete curb, gutter, and sidewalk continued this week along the harbor access road. Crews placed concrete from the large wooden harbor sign, up the hill, to the intersection of Seventh Avenue. |

Multi-Use Trail Construction
Over 90% of the pervious concrete multi-use trail inside of the Arana Gulch open space has been placed. There is a 110 foot section that remains to be placed near the east side of the Hagemann Gulch Bridge.

Hagemann Gulch Bridge Abutments
Four of the ground anchors were installed and tested this week, two on each of the bridge abutments. The anchors are drilled 105' into the ground at a 27 degree angle. There will be 50 ground anchors installed in each abutment on both sides of the Hagemann Gulch bridge. Without the anchors, the gravitational forces of the span of the bridge would pull the abutments into the gulch and collapsing the bridge. |

Hagemann Gulch Bridge
1.Add additional shoring at west abutment
2. Drill and test four ground anchors
3. Excavate footing and prepare slab on east abutment

Harbor Road
1. Install curb, gutter and sidewalk
2. Install ADA ramp at 7th Avenue
3.Install asphalt multi-use trail along wall
Pervious Concrete Multi-Use Trail
1. Final grading preparation for hydroseed.
2. Install erosion control at harbor intersection
